Kopitiam - a Hokkien dialect (Chinese) to describe a open-spaced ''coffee-shop'' (tiam is shop in Hokkien). Normally, those ah Peks and ah Mahs (Uncles and Aunties) will have their breakfast/brunch/lunch in this eating house & will voice out their opinions from the newsprint. This is what this blog will do, sit back & enjoy ........

This is the 1st post from KL kopitiam.

The Star's headline 'Wooing Investor' - will this bring in more foreign fund into KLSE? Hopefully yes, as most shareholders are holding on to shares with their prices at the lowest in the last few years. When the tidal wave comes to push the prices higher, then it is time to unload & quit the market for good! But, then there is the uncertainties of the impending Iraq War which US is trying to turn it into reality. With this war crisis, oil price is going up north and looks like no stopping to this and inflation will set in. Normal petrol price had increased again in M'sia, this is the second time, the price is revised in the last twelve months. Other price hike will follow suit and the hard-earned money we have in our pocket will decrease in its value. Let's just see how this scenario will turn into, hopefully, the war will not come about and life will goes on and as per normal. Too many uncertainties in future life is not too good to this planet at all.
